We are so excited you chose to visit us. We have some basic ground rules to keep everyone safe, comfortable and happy.

• Dark Skies: Big Bend area is dedicated to protecting our gorgeous night skies. Please turn off all exterior lights when not in use.

• QUIET TIME: 10:00 p.m. / 8 a.m. - please be considerate of our neighbors.
  SPEED LIMIT: Please observe a speed limit of no more than 15 mph on all private roads leading to the home. Please do not drive off the driveway or designated parking

• CHILDREN: Due to the nature of our art and the events with alcohol NO Children are allowed, under no circumstances!

PETS: We Do Not allow pets, service animals must have proper documents provided at time of booking!! NO Exceptions!

• TRASH: We understand that life creates waste. That said, we ask you only bring what you can pack out. It's very difficualt and expensive to dispose of trash here, and we try to recycle and create as little waste as possible. No cleaning out your cars and filling up our small dumpster. Please help us keep costs down, by being mindful of your trash. Cleanliness of the property is important to us. Please leave the property as you found it. 

• WATER: Water is precious here in the desert and we are not connected to the water grid. Everything here is either rain catchment, or hauled in, which is an expensive and time consuming task. We ask that you please be mindful with water usage. Please limit yourself to short showers and it's a good idea to bring your own drinking water. We provide ice water for drinking, but we cannot accommodate filling large water containers. There are local place here that can.

• NO FIREWORKS ALLOWED. NO OPEN FIREARMS DISPLAYED. NO HUNTING.

• PARKING: Park in designated parking areas only.

• CONDUCT: Disorderly conduct, drunkenness, illegal drugs, obscene language, obnoxious, disruptive or vulgar behavior will not be tolerated. They will be reason for immediate eviction without refund.

• SMOKING: Please no smoking inside any of the rooms. Outdoors you will find an ashtray to dispose of your butts.

• Property items: While we know you may fall in love with something here during your stay, we ask that you please never take items with you when you leave. It is extremely difficult to secure new items for the hostel in such a remote location. We want to make sure all our guests can enjoy the space just as we designed it. If an accident occurs and something is broken or damaged, we will understand. Just let us know as soon as possible and we will replace it.
